Southeast Sulawesi exports in August 2020 fell by 32.19 percent

Abstract

The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in August 2020 was recorded at US $ 120.73 million or decreased by 32.19 percent compared to exports in July 2020 which was recorded at US $ 178.03 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in August 2020 was recorded at 78.75 thousand tons or decreased by 38.83 percent compared to exports in July 2020 which was recorded at 128.72 thousand tons.
The total exports of Southeast Sulawesi during January-August 2020 reached 831.03 thousand tons or US $ 1,156.03 million.
The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in August 2020 was recorded at US $ 76.87 million or decreased by 36.23 percent compared to imports in July 2020 which was recorded at US $ 120.55 million. Meanwhile, the import volume in August 2020 was recorded at 397.81 thousand tons or an increase of 82.15 percent compared to imports in July 2020 which was recorded at 218.39 thousand tons.
The total imports of Southeast Sulawesi during January-August 2020 reached 2,444.54 thousand tons or valued at US $ 985.13 million.
